Even if you prefer to shop online, it’s not too late to get a gift in time for Christmas.

At Amazon.com, you can order items that qualify for free ” super saver” shipping until Thursday if you purchase at least $25 in eligible items. You can use their standard shipping through Sunday, but after that you’ll have to use two-day or one-day shipping up until Wednesday, Dec. 23.

Walmart.com has pretty much the same deadlines. BestBuy.com also has standard shipping until 11 a.m. Monday that will make it before Christmas, as well as expedited shipping.

If you wake up on Christmas morning without a gift, you can always buy an e-gift card online. Amazon.com, for example, will let you print out a certificate and they’ll send it by e-mail as well. And unlike those plastic gift cards, your recipients don’t have to worry about losing it. The money stays in their account until they use it.
